TAP Team Lays the Groundwork
It often takes just a moment of satisfaction, frustration or insight to get an idea. Putting that idea into motion against the backdrop of procedures, regulations and varied jurisdictions involved in health and human services is quite another matter. That's where TAP can help.
With Technical Assistance Partnership support and a TAP-funded consultant to guide the process, five agencies came together in 2006 with the goal of exploring a better way for families and their children diagnosed with autism to access available services. Their story has not ended, but instead has continued along an expansive path of momentum and success.
